A Static IP Proxy for Allowlisting

A static IP proxy gives you one fixed address to put on an allowlist. Send the traffic for a vendor's API, a client's firewall or your own admin panel through it, and that service always sees the same US address, even when you work from home, a laptop on the move or a connection whose address changes.

Why a Static Proxy Suits Allowlisting

push_pin

Stays the same

The address is static while you keep the service, so the allowlist entry stays right.

laptop_mac

From anywhere

Home, office or travel, the service you reach sees one address.

tune

Only what needs it

Route just the one app or tool through the proxy; the rest of your traffic is untouched.

hub

HTTP and SOCKS5

HTTP for web tools and APIs; SOCKS5 for apps that can use a SOCKS proxy for other TCP connections.

group

Share it with your team

One address for the whole team to allowlist, with one login inside your organization.

inventory_2

Order just one

A single address is fine; there is no minimum.

Pricing

Static US ISP addresses, each with an HTTP and a SOCKS5 port and one login. The price per address depends on how many you order. The order link opens the proxy order form with this use already chosen.

Setting It Up

  1. 1

    Order one address

Keep "Fixed IP for allowlisting" as the intended use, accept the Acceptable Use Policy and pay.
  2. 2

    Allowlist the address

Copy the address from the dashboard and add it to the vendor's, client's or your own allowlist.
  3. 3

    Route the tool through it

Set the proxy in the app, browser profile or command. The allowlisting guide has examples for curl, SSH and browsers.
  4. 4

    Check it works

Visit an IP lookup through the proxy and confirm it shows the allowlisted address, then try the real service.

Where the Line Is

Every order states its intended use and accepts our Acceptable Use Policy. Services used for anything on the right are suspended, and the fees are not refunded.

Fine

  • check_circleReaching a vendor or client service that only accepts allowlisted addresses
  • check_circleLocking your own admin panels or databases to one address
  • check_circleGiving a remote team one address to allowlist
  • check_circleTesting an allowlist rule you manage

Not allowed

  • blockGetting past an allowlist or block you are not authorized to pass
  • blockRunning an open proxy, or sharing the login outside your organization
  • blockLogging in to accounts that are not yours, or testing leaked passwords
  • blockSending email or bulk messages through the proxies

Good to Know Before You Order

  • infoWe have tested web traffic (HTTPS) through these proxies. Test other kinds of connection before relying on them; tools that cannot use a proxy need a VPN or a server with a fixed address instead.
  • infoKeep the login private: anyone who has it reaches the service from your allowlisted address.
  • infoThe address is in the United States, whatever your own location.
  • infoIf you need a fixed address for a whole office network, a VPS running WireGuard may suit you better.

Questions

What is IP allowlisting?expand_more

A rule that only lets connections from listed addresses reach a service, used by APIs, firewalls, databases and admin panels. If your own address changes, you lose access until someone updates the list.

Can I use one proxy for SSH or a database?expand_more

Possibly, if your client supports a SOCKS5 proxy: OpenSSH can with a ProxyCommand, and the allowlisting guide shows how. We have only tested web traffic (port 443) through these proxies, so try a connection before you rely on it, and open a ticket if it fails.

Will my address ever change?expand_more

Not in normal operation: it is static while you keep the service. The Terms allow us to change an address when it is operationally necessary, and the new one would then appear in your dashboard.

Proxy or VPN for a static IP?expand_more

A proxy for one app or tool; a VPN when every connection from a device must come from the fixed address. The Proxy vs VPN guide compares them.
