Proxies for Public Web Data Collection

Proxies for public web data let a scraper spread its requests across several addresses, so each stays at a pace a site can serve comfortably. Our static US ISP proxies suit steady, well-behaved collection of publicly available pages. They are not for getting past logins or paywalls, which our Terms prohibit.

Why ISP Addresses Suit Public Data Collection

router

ISP-registered

Sites see a consumer internet provider, not a hosting network, and serve the pages ordinary visitors get.

speed

Spread, not hammer

Share the work across addresses and keep each one slow, which is better for the site and for your data.

push_pin

Static addresses

Each address keeps a consistent history with a site, instead of a new stranger on every request.

code

Any scraping stack

HTTP and SOCKS5 with one login: Scrapy, requests, httpx, Playwright, Puppeteer and Selenium all work.

content_copy

Lists in three formats

Copy or download the addresses in the format your code expects.

inventory_2

Up to 999 at checkout

Order as many as you need; larger volumes by quote.

Pricing

Static US ISP addresses, each with an HTTP and a SOCKS5 port and one login. The price per address depends on how many you order. The order link opens the proxy order form with this use already chosen.

Setting It Up

  1. 1

    Check the site's rules first

Read robots.txt and the terms. If there is an API or a data export, use that instead.
  2. 2

    Size the order

Work out requests per hour and divide by a polite rate per address per site. The sizing guide shows how.
  3. 3

Order with public data as the use

Keep "Public web data collection" as the intended use, accept the Acceptable Use Policy and pay.
  4. 4

    Configure your scraper

Set a delay per site, identify your crawler in the user agent where you can, and cache what you have already fetched.
  5. 5

    Back off on errors

Treat 429 and 503 as "slow down". Adding more addresses to push through them is how scraping turns into abuse.

Where the Line Is

Every order states its intended use and accepts our Acceptable Use Policy. Services used for anything on the right are suspended, and the fees are not refunded.

Questions

Are these proxies good for web scraping?expand_more

For steady collection of public pages at a polite rate, yes: they are static US ISP addresses with HTTP and SOCKS5. They are a poor fit for very high-volume scraping or for sites that refuse automated access, where you will mostly collect blocks and complaints.

Is web scraping legal?expand_more

Collecting publicly available data is lawful in many cases in the US, but site terms, copyright and privacy law still apply. Avoid logged-in content, personal data and anything a site's terms forbid, and take legal advice for large projects.

Static or rotating proxies for scraping?expand_more

A pool of static addresses your scraper moves between does the same job as a rotating proxy and gives you control over the pace per address. The rotating proxy guide explains the difference.

What counts as high-risk scraping?expand_more

Things like very high request rates, logged-in or personal data, or sites that clearly refuse automated access. Ask us before ordering if your project might fall into that.
